Joseph ‘JoJo’ Simmons Jr., the son of Run DMC front man Rev Run and reality star of MTV’s “Run’s House”, was arrested over the weekend on various charges including marijuana possession. The rapper and member of the rap group Team Blackout was allegedly caught buying marijuana and arrested after NYPD officers observed him rolling a joint while sitting in his vehicle on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

According to reports, JoJo Simmons, 19, tried to flee the scene which led to another charge of attempted reckless endangerment when Simmons almost struck a police officer’s vehicle with his car while trying to reverse.  In addition to attempted reckless endangerment Simmons was also charged with resisting arrest and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

A Manhattan judge later reduced his charges to two misdemeanor counts of drug possession and one for resisting arrest.
