Student Arrested After Leaving Marijuana Plants in Dorm Room

13398995_7e386fd53ePolice say a 19-year-old Unity College student was arrested for growing marijuana in her dorm room after she failed to do a thorough cleaning of before leaving campus.  Annica D. McGuirk, 19, of Cabot, Ark., faces criminal charges after security guards found “fewer than 10″ plants growing in plastic containers while checking dorm rooms to make sure they had been emptied following the school’s graduation ceremony.

The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office said McGuirk was charged with cultivation, sale and use of marijuana, and use of drug paraphernalia.  She is scheduled to appear in court to face charges July 7th. Lesson learned: Dont leave college without your marijuana plants.

  1. That’s insane! Colleges will soon be offering classes in cannabis cultivation, ganja commerce, cannabusiness, and marijuana marketing…. and resourceful students like this will be cream of the crop!
